Co-creating with the universe can be done in various ways: vision boards for manifestation, meditation, journaling, or ceremony. No matter how you choose to manifest your truth, one thing will always remain the same: the Universe hears you, and always works WITH you to bring you your highest good.
The hardest part about doing manifestation work is trusting the process:
giving into any doubt or fear you have while creating your “dream life.” As someone who is extremely impatient in all areas of my life, having to play the waiting game while the Universe works its magic (you can’t rush greatness) isn’t the easiest thing for me. What does help get my magic flowing and help speed up the manifestation process for me is being able to see what it is I am creating. This is why I love vision boards for manifestation.
Being able to physically see what it is I am working towards helps make the vision clear for me.
Not only have I found this practice to be quick and clear, it’s also a lot of fun.
We currently live in a crazy time with our lives constantly shifting and changing. Getting a clear vision of what it is you’re working towards, regardless of what obstacles are thrown in your way, helps align your spirit and your mind, relaxes your body, and helps bridge the gap between the 3D and 5D.
So how do you create vision boards for manifestation?
I’m going to teach you. The best thing to remember is that there are no limitations. This is your life – you can create anything you want and have your life be as big and as beautiful as you dream it to be.
STEP ONE: Define your goals
List the areas in your life that are important to you. For me, these things consist of my health, my home life, my job, etc. See how many things you can come up with, but don’t spend too much time on this part. 5 or 10 minutes is all you need. Jot down whatever comes to mind first.
STEP TWO: Find your inspiration
Start looking for images or words that align with the goals you wrote down from step one. For example, when I am working on the part of my vision board that focuses around health, I tend to gravitate towards fitness and lifestyle magazines. This is just an example, though- use your imagination and get creative. Anything from stickers to wrapping paper to leaves & flowers can be a part of the imagery you use.
Make yourself cozy and grab your favorite tea or coffee- this is the part that takes the most time. By the “end” (there never really is an end, as our lives keep expanding), you should have a large pile of words and images
STEP THREE: Map out your vision board
Depending on how big you choose to make your board, this is what you’ll need:
- poster board
- scissors
- glue / tape
- sharpies / markers
- anything fun you want to add: washi tape, ribbon, stickers, etc
I like to write out each topic on my board and space them out far enough that I can start putting images associated with my word directly underneath…however, this is your board, and you can make it as free or compact as you’d like.
Start laying out your images on your board, but don’t start gluing right away. Once you have your words and images where you want them, then start to glue them down. I like to leave the edges of my images open in case I want to layer things.
STEP FOUR: Bring it to life
When you are finished creating your board, it’s important to find a special place for it: somewhere you can see it and reference it any time you need to come back to yourself and remind your inner being of what it is you are working towards/creating. Another tip is to take a picture of it and make it your phone wallpaper so that it is always with you.
AND FINALLY…
Manifesting is not about creating a new life or a new you. It is about realigning yourself with your truth and your vision. What you are wanting to bring into your life, you already are.
